Joseph Cafaro is an experienced litigator specializing in first-party insurance and personal injury litigation, representing policyholders against their insurance companies as well as personal injury victims.

Prior to joining WEK Law, Joseph spent nearly ten years as an insurance defense litigator, with focuses on admiralty law, trucking negligence and premises liability. He brings a background of having litigated complex, high-exposure cases in both state and federal court, and a wealth of knowledge about insurance carriers and their tactics. Joseph has been named a “Rising Star” by the Super Lawyers publication for each of the last three years.

Originally from New Jersey, Joseph obtained his undergraduate degree in psychology from New York University. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2011.

In his spare time, Joseph enjoys cheering on the University of Miami Hurricanes, playing softball and golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
