Saurin Chokshi vigorously represents homeowners and personal injury clients involved with disputes with their insurance company. He has gained over 20 years of litigation experience handling first-party property, personal injury protection, and bodily injury cases.
Prior to joining Weisser, Elazar & Kantor, Saurin spent many years working in private law firms and as in-house counsel defending various insurance companies in first-party automobile and residential property lawsuits. This provided him with invaluable experience and insight into the strategies employed by insurance companies. Saurin also used the experience and knowledge gained on the defense side to run his own law practice, which primarily focused on advocating for his personal injury clients, and helping them obtain the best possible results.
Saurin was born in New York City, and has resided in the State of Florida for the majority of his life. He attended the University of Florida, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance. Saurin then attended the Florida State University College of Law, after which he moved to Fort Lauderdale, and began his legal career as a prosecutor at the Broward County State Attorney’s office. He is admitted to practice law in state courts in Florida, as well as federal court in the Southern District of Florida.
In his spare time, Saurin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and especially taking his son to live sporting events and concerts.
