Meryl Hendrix specializes in first-party insurance litigation, representing policyholders against their insurance companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Meryl spent four years as an insurance defense litigator, and uses the knowledge and skills she learned while representing insurance carriers to zealously represent and protect policyholders against the injustices perpetrated by Florida’s major property insurance companies.
The experience she gained from four years in the insurance defense industry gives Meryl insight into many of the tactics used by carriers. Meryl is also a former Assistant State Attorney where she prosecuted first and second degree misdemeanor cases in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Broward County. Meryl received her Bachelor’s degree in the area of Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center.
Since obtaining her law degree, Meryl has litigated actions in courts throughout the State of Florida.
